National Retail Operations Manager

This is a newly created position to compliment the growth strategy in place for the entire New Zealand operation.

The Role:

The purpose of the role is to lead the retail and trade division of our clients business. There will be a total of 32 stores with a middle management level reporting directly to you. Our client is looking for an experienced Retail Operations candidate to add a fresh and new perspective to the teams – you will be expected to assess where our clients performance is at with regards to retail service delivery and operations. You will be expected to identify gaps and opportunity for development from merchandising, store layout, KPI’s, training, products and employees to result in an improved customer service experience.

The Ideal Candidate:
  • Proven experience in Retail Operations – detailed understanding of retail principles
  • A customer centric operator that can align the branches to the overarching company direction
  • Fantastic previous experience in coaching, leading and developing
  • Organisational agility
  • Committed, determined and proactive in their approach
  • Humble – content to work right across the organisation
