Full revamp set to take place soon!

It looks like plans are finally set to go ahead for the upgrade of Victoria Park market in central Auckland. The tired area is set to have a full overhaul with new retailers, bars, restaurants and night clubs.

All of the eateries will have outdoor eating areas, so it’s almost a given that the aging market will become a hive of activity and people when it’s up and running.

The up-grade will take around 9 months and it plans see work starting as early as next month! It should be finished in time for the Rugby World Cup in 2011.

Companies that have signed up for a lease include fashion designers from Perth, Sydney and Melbourne, eateries like The Flying Burrito Brothers, La Zeppa, and an Argentinean Steak House.
