Retailers need access to their buildings, but what’s been done about it?
I hear the pain of the Christchurch CBD business owners – I think it’s hideous that more is not being done to coordinate access to their businesses. To know of “cordon tours” and hear of “if you’re in the know” access is just causing understandable frustration. Very disappointing to hear the Radio interview on Live yesterday morning – a clear lack of Empathy from the Minister of Civil Defence. While there is definitely danger and people, including the business owners, are well aware of this and not trying to be unreasonable, more could be done to work with these business owners.
